how it all started

Finca de Flores was founded in 2021 as a no-name property in North County San Diego. It was never in the plans to own a ranch but as fate would have it that’s exactly what happened. Adrienne’s love of flowers and the Spanish language inspired the name and business and with her partner Garrett they’re bringing it to life.

we grew up in southern california where our everyday, even now, is immersed in mexican culture. we warmly welcome you to finca de flores, our home. this property is our life’s work and legacy.

OUR STORY

finca de flores has big goals

claro (obviously)

  • Adrienne spent 20 years working for a Fortune 500 technology company having recently put that chapter in the past to pursue Finca de Flores.

As a creative she’s excited to step into this new chapter and hopes to make new friends and create a community - a familia - with you.

Inspired by the countryside and slow living, Adrienne invites you into life on the finca where everyday is a practice rooted in wellbeing.

She is a passionate language learner and is an intermediate Spanish speaker.

  • Garrett is an engineer by trade and can build anything asked of him. If Adrienne dreams up an idea he’s the guy that brings it to life.

Garrett subscribes to the work hard play hard philosophy and is by every account a vaquero (cowboy). The wild and free western spirit exists at the finca through him, except instead of horses he rides motorcycles.

Garrett speaks Spanish fluently as his father spoke to him in the language from a young age, passing on his Mexican heritage.

we pride ourselves on specializing in mexican native flowers

how could we bring the beauty of Mexico to our community? we’ve taken great care in asking ourselves that question and we found our answer rooted in flowers.
